Refund policy
Returns
Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 31 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return (refund or exchange), your binder set must be UNUSED and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, email info@listandfile.com with your original purchase order number, reason for return, and preferred replacement method (exchange or refund). We will then provide you with next steps for shipping.
Refunds & Exchanges
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange request.
If you are approved for refund, then your refund will be processed and a credit automatically applied to your credit card (or original method of payment) in the amount of the item(s) purchased. Taxes & shipping costs are not refunded.
If you are approved for an exchange, we will ship your new binder set (design of your choice) within 3 business days of exchange approval. You will be responsible for shipping costs of the new set only (see Shipping section below).
As mentioned previously, due to the nature of the product we cannot offer a refund or exchange in the following situations:
- Set has obvious signs of use.
- Set is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing pages for reasons not due to our error.
- More than 30 days have passed since purchase.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within a reasonable amount of time after the refund was approved, please check your bank account again or contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Please also contact your bank, as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded but may be exchanged for another sale item of equal or lesser value. Gift card purchases cannot be refunded once any amount of the card has been used.
Shipping
The customer is not responsible for paying for shipping costs to return an item if requesting a refund. If requesting an exchange, the customer is responsible for shipping of the new set only; List & File will cover the cost of the set being returned.
The time it takes for your exchanged product to be shipped to you will vary depending on delivery location.
